About Erin Lee Golden
Erin has been a writer since she could hold a pencil, but along the way she’s also taught high school English and creative writing, childbirth classes, and worked as a doula. She now teaches for Texas Christian University’s Extended Education department and The Writing Barn and does workshops for the Society of Children’s Book Writer’s and Illustrators and anyone else who will invite her to speak about her favorite things—writing and books!
Erin lives with her engineer husband, two rambunctious sons, two spoiled dogs, and two rescued cats in north Texas where she is an active member of the Society of Children’s Book Writer’s and Illustrators and a Writing Barn fellow. Her middle grade novel was a finalist in the 2017 Writers’ League of Texas manuscript contest. Erin’s publication credits include CURIOUS GEORGE ADVENTURES IN LEARNING: GRADE K (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt) and the following with Chronicle Books: LET’S DANCE WITH JULIUS AND FRIENDS; BIG, BIGGER, AND BIGGEST TRUCKS AND DIGGERS; and four titles the SCRATCHERS activity book series.
